Hey there.
I am the most spoilt woman alive, outside of Eloise obvz. Ellie's godmother came over yesterday and gave us the most lovely gift bag of goodies and treats, all so lovely and thoughtful, following a very clear festive theme! Then my bestie, Monster Makeupxx called over with a bag of swag for Ellie and a little something for myself. Can you guess what it was?? I am honestly one of the last people to try it, and I already sense how obsessed I am! Today's post is all about these generous women in our lives and how to do our best to appreciate them.
I am not good in social situations with other people. I am very over bearing and too talkative and I just want people to like me. And my very close friends love me despite this. They're funny and kind and beautiful. They've loved me before and since Eloise. And I'll get the absolute hole mocked off me for writing this, and they'd be dead right too.
#Sister:
This is the kind of friend who has become as close as a sister to you. She pulls you up on all your stupid shite, but she'll pull herself just as quick. She keeps you grounded and makes you understand that you can be a top blitzer, regardless of your short comings. And if you're very lucky she'll be the godmother to, and a wonderful example for, your daughter.

Bestie:
This girl has been too good to you for too long. She has oceans of 'Get-Up-And-Go' and she's only to happy to share it. Whether it's giving you lifts to work, helping you set up your blog, dropping everything at a moments notice for you or being as in love with Shaaanxo as you are, she is one in 7 billion. She would move mountains for you, because that's who she is.
What do you give the women who doesn't want anything?
Soulmate:
You can have more than one soulmate. If you can have multiple children and love them all the same, why can't you have more than one person who changes your life in the deepest way imaginable? Their sadness is yours to fix, their happiness is yours to emphasis and their triumphs are yours to broadcast. This person makes your heart bigger and your darkness brighter. Soulmate is just another word for best friend.
What do you give the person who deserves more than you can give? I never know what to give her, so I always end up buying her things I think she'd like, but she mightn't. Friendship is about being nudged out of your comfort zone too!
These three friends I've mentioned? If you're very lucky, they're all of your friends. Each and every friend I have is some combination of the people I've mentioned. I just hope the person I am is a reflection of how wonderful they all are.
I'm going to be posting less often for the next two week so I can enjoy Eloise's first Christmas, but I'll still be regularly updating Instagram, Facebook and Twitter!
